Georgia Psarrou

Institute of Air & Space Law (IASL), McGill University
LLM Student
Georgia Psarrou is a Masters student at the McGill Institute of Air & Space Law. Early on in her undergraduate studies in law at the University of Sussex she developed a great interest in researching the ways power can operate through legal instruments to serve the interests of States and institutions alike. This is an interest that she continues to cultivate through her studies in space law, by dedicating her thesis on examining the potentially oppressive effects the establishment of private property and appropriation rights in celestial bodies can have on the global population.
As she is currently putting the finishing touches to her LLM Thesis, Georgia has returned to her home country of Greece where she is beginning her legal training in anticipation of the 2019 Athens Bar exams.
