Dr. Arun K. Misra is the Thomas Workman Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University. He teaches several courses in the area of dynamics, including a course on spacecraft dynamics. His research interests lie in the areas of satellite dynamics and control, large space structures, space robotics, and fluid-structure interaction. Dr. Misra is a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics as well as a Fellow of the American Astronautical Society. He has been elected to the International Academy of Astronautics and to the Canadian Academy of Engineering. He is a Co-Editor of the international journal Acta Astronautica.
